Hunter

Hunter strategy
Fast, agile, and distracting, the hunter can pose a dangerous threat to the survivors. The hunter can pounce and pin down survivors. Unfortunately, it can only pin down one survivor at a time. When a survivor is pinned an announcement will come up informing the rest the of survivors.

The hunter can reach some really advantageous tactical attack spots due to its ability to jump to ridiculous heights. Another great situation is when the survivors are in a cramped spot like a long hallway, because the hunter can jump around easily and pounce on and off walls to confuse the survivors or pin one of them. Most people who play the hunter, aim as if the hunter was a gun, but the hunter does not work like a gun. It works more like a grenade (what comes up must come down). Aiming higher would let you travel farther or you could pounce from behind a tall object and catch the survivors off guard.

The hunter is great at attacking a lone survivor, but when survivors are together it can be a bit troublesome. There are 2 ways around a group, but you need to work together with your teammates. In the first way, you can be the first to attack the survivors from your team. However, you do not actually pin a survivor but instead just jump around and distract the survivors leaving an opening for your team to land a successful attack. The second way is to wait for someone else from your team to attack, preferably a boomer. Then while the team is distracted by the incoming horde you can pin a survivor down.

Survivor Counterattack!!
A hunter can be very effective against one survivor but against a team it's pretty helpless.
When a teammate is pinned by a hunter and you are far away aim for a headshot while moving closer to the pinned teammate. When you are close to a pinned survivor use a melee attack to knock the hunter off the survivor and saving your teammate a little hp.
You can tell when you near a hunter by its unique growl or turn on subtitles to make it easier.

When you hear a hunter nearby you can walk in a weird pattern , wait for it to pounce on a teammate then kill it, when its in the air use a melee attack to stun the hunter, or try to get out of there as fast as possible. When a teammate is pinned try to help him/her out as fast as possible because the hunter can do significant damage.

If you play as a hunter or against a hunter its best to work together with you team to utilize each special infected or keep each other alive and o course to have fun
